Three Steps To Applying For A Grant
1. Find an appropriate funding agency and program - ask the grants manager for help if needed. There are hundreds of organizations out there available to help fund your project. Look around and see what you can find. The CCT grants office has an extensive list of previous funding agencies available in the links section .

2. Develop your proposal idea, budget and justification. Be specific and descriptive. Tell the potential funding agency exactly what you're going to do and how you're going to do it. Please include timeframes, goal statements and scope information. If you need help, check out our links section for a list of resources.

3. Contact the Office of Grant Development for assistance in proposal routing and the submission process to your project's funding agency.

Because grant applications are time-sensitive, it is important you have these three steps done at least five business-days before the application is due to the funding organization. A little bit of planning ahead and time management goes a long way to getting your project the funding it deserves.
