Louisiana’s low-lying coastal areas are one of the world’s most vulnerable and environmentally damaged ecosystems. With these projects, researchers study methods of more accurately forecasting hurricanes and develop advanced coastal models to better plan restoration strategies and improve ecological forecasting.
