-Jorge Pullin presented an invited plenary talk at the ICMSQUARE conference on Mathematical Modeling in Mathematical Physics in Mykonos, Greece. Pullin also chaired the sessions "From general relativity to quantum gravity" at the General Relativity Centennial Meeting at Penn State.
-Congratulations to Dr. Mark Wilde on his selection to serve as an associate editor of Quantum Information Theory for IEEE Transactions on Information Theory. Dr. Wilde began his three-year appointment as an associate editor this past May.
-Shawn Walker’s book, “The Shapes of Things: A Practical Guide to Differential Geometry and the Shape Derivative,” is now available for purchase. http://bookstore.siam.org/dc28/
