Pats on the Back:
-Dr. Jorge Pullin was an invited panelist and chaired a session in the Loops 15 meeting in Erlangen, Germany, and co-chaired a session at the Marcel Grossmann meeting in Rome.
-Dr. Clint Whaley received a 2015 IBM Faculty Award in the amount of $25,000. This award is highly competitive and recognizes the quality of Dr. Whaley’s program and its importance to the computer industry. This IBM Faculty Award is a gift in recognition of Dr. Whaley’s achievement and not a contract for services.
-Dr. Seung-Jong (Jay) Park was selected to received a 2015 IBM Faculty Award in the amount of $10,000. This award is highly competitive and recognizes the quality of Dr. Park’s program and its importance to the computer industry. This IBM Faculty Award is a gift in recognition of Dr. Park’s achievement and not a contract for services.
-Dr. Rudy Hirschheim was awarded Best Paper of the Year for 2014 by the Journal of the Association for Information Systems (JAIS) for his paper, ”The Historical Research Method and Information Systems Research”, Journal of the Association for Information Systems: Vol. 15: Issue 9, Article 3.
