Pats on the Back:
-Congratulations to Jesse Allison on the birth of his son, Taggert Menghis Allison. He was born over spring break and weighed 8lbs 13oz, and 21 inches long. The whole family is doing well and they are incredibly excited to spoil him.
Upcoming Lectures:
-Xin Li, Louisiana State University, will give a Computational Mathematics Seminar titled, “Partial Geometric Mapping for Data Reassembly and Reconstruction” at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, April 21st in 1034 DMC.
-Jerome Baudry, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, will give a Computational Biology Seminar Series for Undergraduates lecture titled, “What's Up Doc(k)?” at 5:30 PM on Thursday, April 23rd in Life Sciences Building Annex A101.
Please Note:
-Special meal requests must be approved prior to the event. In order to allow for sufficient administrative processing time, special meal requests must be submitted at least 14 business days prior to the event.
-On November 7, 2014, Governor Jindal issued Executive Order BJ 14-16 that directed executive branch agencies including higher education to cease spending in support (non-personnel) categories. In response, LSU has developed operating guidelines to meet the spirit of the order through June 30, 2015 in support of the state budget. These guidelines apply only to expenditures using State appropriated funds that are included in the University's 2014-15 Operating Budget and so identified with a zero (0) in the sixth digit of the account number.
