Abstract:
In this lecture, Frank Loffler will present "old" results of initial data and numerical evolutions of compact systems build of a neutron star and a black hole as well as report about recent progress in extending and enhancing these results.

Speaker's Bio:
Frank Loffler earned his Ph.D. at the Albert Einstein Institute in Potsdam, Germany, and his MS in Physics at the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, Germany.
