4th Annual Workshop on Enabling Process Innovation through Computation--EPIC
Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Monday, November 21, 2016; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
EPIC@LSU (Enabling Process Innovation through Computation) is hosting its Fourth Annual Workshop on Monday, November 21, 2016, at the Digital Media Center on LSU's campus.
Since Fall 2012, EPIC researchers at LSU have been engaged in addressing a variety of industry problems especially in the chemicals/petrochemicals manufacturing using the state-of-the-art high performance computing (HPC) capabilities at CCT, many-decades of modeling experience, and insightful data analytics. Innovations in the advanced manufacturing technologies are further expanding our design spaces.
EPIC consortium and EPIC seminar series hosted at LSU have been instrumental in building an internationally recognized network of experts in wide range of chemical, petroleum, mechanical, and biological engineering industrial scale issues. This workshop will host a keynote lecture by Prof. Vivek V. Ranade (Queen’s University, Belfast). Another highlight of this workshop is the training sessions organized by co-sponsors for this event, CCT and CD-Adapco (URL link to CD-Adapco page). Please register by November 7th, 2016 for the training sessions due to limited seats (Max. 36 – First preference to non-LSU attendees).
