CCT has been awarded a NSF NMI award for grid middleware, with a project called "GridChem: CyberInfrastructure for Computational Chemistry". The $2.7M three year project will be led by the University of Kentucky, and also involved the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, Texas Advanced Center for Computing and Ohio State University. At LSU, which will receive $600K, the project involves Gabrielle Allen (PI) and Tom Goodale at CCT, Dana Browne in the Department of Physics, and Randall Hall, Les Butler, and Bin Chen in the Department of Chemistry.
